When I was only 12 years old, my guru, Smt. Kaveri Ramesh, graciously took me under her wingand molded me into a proper dancer imparting all of her knowledge about bharathnatyam. Her determination and ability to teach dance in an amazingly beautiful manner is what has made Nrithiyanjali School of Arts what it is today. We spent hours perfecting the graceful dance form but it never felt like a burden. There was always a positive atmosphere in the classroom with a lot of energy. She is the one who gave me the confidence to climb on stage and give a performance that everybody would applaud. Her motivation and proper guidance was the reason I finished my Arangetram on 15th May 2011. This was an event that marked a milestone in my life. My time at Nrithyianjali School of Arts will always remain close to my heart and I cherish every minute spent at Nrithiyanjali School of Arts.

It’s a great pleasure to share my thoughts and experiences about the dance school – “Nrithyanjali School of Arts”, the place where my daughter pursues her passion. She enjoys all the sessions and her inclination towards the art form had always been positive. The sole reason was coz of her Guru Smt. Kaveri Ramesh. Though my daughter’s admission in the school had been a little late, her Guru had taken all efforts to identify her plus and groomed her on the nuances which helped her to complete her Salangai Pooja, a group performance for 1 hour, in less than two years of her schooling. From there on, my daughter had been part of most of the programs rendered by the school including the performance for Navratri at Malaysia. Her passion and learnings from her Guru had enabled her to try her own choreo’s too . All the performances – Solo /Group are testimonies on its own on the synchronization among the dancers. It had always been flawless, which is definitely a combined effort of the Guru and her students. Hence I take this as an opportunity to wish all success to all the students and the school.

There are many fond memories with NRITHIYANJALI SCHOOL OF ARTS (NSA) founder and director Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh on the professional front with Deechu, our daughter. When we decided to enroll our little daughter in some kind of arts, that’s when we heard about NSA’s Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh Madam, we enrolled her at the age of 4 years, by that time she hardly was able to speak,, Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh never took classes for children below 5 years old, we explained about Deechu’s medical history, she immediately agreed to enroll her, it happened almost 10 years back. Since then there was no looking back to our kid, NSA’s Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh Madam took my daughter to her wing, took utmost care of her, she patiently taught my daughter everything, On the professional front Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh Madam is one of the few Bharatanatyam Gurus in Chennai who knows fine nuances of this form of Art. As a perfectionist She encourages all her students to give their best all the time. And always encourages them to try to explore new things. My daughter staged many memorable performances with NSA, she even danced in DD Pothigai , it’s all possible because of NSA’s Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh Madam. The seniors in NSA are also very kind, cordial towards their juniors and teach them, they are always good mentors to juniors. We owe Mrs. Kaveri Ramesh Madam a lot. NSA is always a second home for our kid, she emotionally bonded with NSA, like others.

Mrs. Kaveri is highly knowledgeable in the subject and she is very dedicated in her teaching. She is punctual to the classes, and makes the student understand the various aspects of it by explaining it very well. My daughter is attending the classes remotely for the past one year and she has made good progress with Mrs. Kaveri's great teaching skills and personal guidance. Mrs. Kaveri’s dedication, professionalism, passion, enthusiasm and good nature makes her an excellent teacher to work with.“

My name is Balu Vijayalakshmi. I am from Singapore and I am a young Bharathanatyam dancer. I want to share about Nrithyanjali dance academy. When l travelled to india with my family. l had an opportunity to go to this dance academy when l was accompanying my cousin there, who is a learning dance at Nrithyanjali. Initially, I thought that there will not be many things for me to do there while waiting for my cousin to finish her class. However, l was wrong. Mrs Kaveri founder of Nrithyanjali, gave me a lot of tips and in fact she even asked me to sit inside and see how my cousin and dancemates are practising. Unexpectedly, she motivated me to try some movements. As a classical dancer get to expand my knowledge on dance there. Since from that day onwards l went there to see how the students perform and sometimes ask some doubts which are related dance. Last but not least, l personally enjoyed spending my time there.
